Theatre Rights

We ask that all performing rights requests be forwarded initially via email to reception@curtisbrown.com.au.

The subject heading should be entered as “Playwright: Title of Work”.  For example, if you wish to request permission to perform Ray Lawler’s Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, please enter “Ray Lawler: Summer of the Seventeenth Doll” as the subject heading.

For performance rights please provide the following information (feel free to copy and paste the below list into your contact email):

1. Author of play
2. Title of play
3. Number of performances
4. Dates performances will take place
5. Venue
6. Licensee (if different from the venue)
7. Type of production (professional/amateur)
8. Ticket prices
9. Number of seats in venue
10. Your postal address

Please note our invoice terms for theatre rights are as follows:

• Minimum non-returnable deposit of half total fee due within 7 days from date of agreement
• Balance due within 7 days from date of final performance
