Annah Faulkner
Annah Faulkner was born in Melbourne and grew up in Papua New Guinea. Her years there during the 1950s and 1960s provided the background for her first novel, The Beloved, which won the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award for an Emerging Author, was commented for the FAW Christina Stead Award, won the Kibble Literary Award, and was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award. Her second novel was Last Day in the Dynamite Factory.
