Mark McAvaney

Mark McAvaney was raised in the wine growing region of the Clare Valley in South Australia. After completing a Commerce Degree, he moved to the United Kingdom for a one year working holiday, to experience London life and pursue his love of travel. 

Mark applied his finance skills with-in the post production industry, working for a Technicolor division which produced special effects for television and film, including the Harry Potter franchise and other Hollywood blockbusters. 

His creativity was not limited to numbers, and his interest in books led him to work in the offices of Curtis Brown where, spurred on by readers and storytellers, he completed his own debut novel, For Everything a Time (Ultimo, 2024).
